Yoga Retreats in Nepal
Yoga retreats in Nepal at Buddhist Monastery is the best program for those who are interested in Yoga and Buddhism. Join us on our retreat to the Buddhist Neydo Monastery in the calm hills of the Kathmandu Valley. The positive energy of this area is powerful and makes this the perfect place to focus on your yoga and meditation practice.
Pharping is a highly spiritual place in both Buddhism and Hinduism traditions. Located in the Southern area of Kathmandu Valley 21 Kilometers away from Thamel, Pharping lies on the way to the Dakshin Kali. Surrounded by small mountains and beautiful monasteries Phurping is famous for the Upper Cave Asura and Lower Yanglesho Cave.
The Upper Asura Cave is the place where great Buddhist Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, did his meditation and achieved enlightenment. The Lower Yanglesho Cave is considered to be an important spot for the Lord Vishnu in Hinduism.
In addition to its historical and cultural significance, this area is very calm and peaceful, full of beautiful natural energy where yoga practice helps us to be physically strong and mentally calm!
